While it helps you to get through the most basic tasks, you understand that English cannot give you the level of deep connection with your Italian counterpart you are looking for.
⚠️Robert, the Polish country manager of a multinational Italian company had a similar problem. He was responsible for the company in the Polish market and he was proud of the results they achieved.
💭But Robert had a dream. He wanted to convince the Italian members of the board to open a new production plant in Poland. He knew that he would get a chance if he managed to build a stronger relation with his colleagues. But how to do it?
One day, a famous quote attributed to Nelson Mandela came to his mind:
“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart”.
This was the answer Robert was looking for: if he wanted to persuade his colleagues he had to speak to their heart!❤️ To do so, he thought of using the Italian language to establish a deeper connection with them.
Then, he contacted me to improve his Italian. Together, we worked on mastering his communication skills, with a 1:1 programme based on what he really needed to take his Italian to the next level.
Results came soon: after a few months, the management is now considering his proposal and they have started negotiations to open a new production plant.
Based on this experience, in 2021 I created the Workplace Italian coaching programme, to help other 50 executives from global companies such as Mapei, Honeywell, Raben and De'Longhi to talk to the heart of their Italian customers and colleagues!📈

My name is Simone and I am your Italian language coach. Since 2021 I have helped more than 50 students from global companies such as Mapei, Honeywell, Raben and De'Longhi to communicate fluently with their clients and colleagues!
